The rapid institutionalization of Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization has exposed a critical structural vulnerability: the Physical Oracle Gap. While Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) guarantees the immutability of on-chain records, it remains inherently blind to the off-chain physical reality of the underlying collateral. For large-scale portfolios (real estate, agricultural land, or critical infrastructure), manual, periodic physical audits are economically unviable and create dangerous latency windows for fraud, degradation, or double-pledging.
This publication details the architectural blueprint for automating continuous physical verification at scale by bridging Google Earth Engine (GEE) with the Prop Trust Verified Standard (PTVS v1.0), leveraging Google Cloud Confidential Computing to ensure tamper-proof, regulatorily compliant data injection.
The Challenge: The Latency of Traditional Audits
Under frameworks like MiCA (Arts. 36 & 46) and BCBS SCO60, issuers must maintain “sufficient reserve assets at all times” and ensure robust custody segregation. Traditional forensic audits rely on static PDF reports generated at discrete intervals (e.g., annually or quarterly). This creates two fatal flaws:
- Temporal Blindness: An asset can suffer structural failure, environmental degradation, or illegal encumbrance the day after an audit, yet continue to trade at par value on-chain for months.
- Scalability Bottleneck: Deploying human experts to physically inspect thousands of distributed asset parcels is cost-prohibitive, preventing the true scaling of RWA markets.
The Architecture: Geospatial Computation in Confidential Space
To resolve this, the PTVS framework introduces a hybrid oracle model. Instead of relying solely on human inspection for routine monitoring, we utilize the unparalleled geospatial data processing capabilities of Google Earth Engine. However, raw satellite or telemetry data is not legally admissible evidence. It must be processed in a trusted environment.
The solution executes within a Google Cloud Confidential Space (or Confidential VM). This ensures that the geospatial payload (e.g., NDVI indices for agriculture, structural footprint changes via SAR imagery, or thermal anomalies for infrastructure) is computed in a hardware-enforced Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). This eliminates any possibility of infrastructure operator interference or data manipulation prior to signing.
The Cryptographic Bridge: On-Chain Injection via PTVS
Once the geospatial telemetry is computed and validated within the enclave, it must be translated into a legally binding, on-chain claim. This is achieved through the PTVSClaimInjector.sol smart contract interface, as defined in PTVS-RFC-001.
⚙️ The Verification Flow
1. Spatial Query: The oracle requests specific geospatial metrics for the asset’s polygon from GEE.
2. Enclave Processing: Data is processed within the Confidential VM, generating a deterministic JSON payload.
3. Forensic Sealing: The payload is hashed (SHA-256) and signed with an eIDAS 2.0 Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) tied to the authorized Prop Trust Certified Expert (PTCE) or automated oracle identity.
4. On-Chain Injection: The hash and signature are pushed to the blockchain. If the metrics breach predefined thresholds (e.g., severe structural anomaly), the PTVSAPRISInjector (RFC-002) automatically triggers a ForensicFreeze circuit breaker, halting secondary market transfers to protect investors.
This architecture satisfies the stringent operational resilience requirements of MiCA Art. 58, providing a continuous, cryptographically verifiable audit trail that static PDFs cannot match.
Open-Source Implementation

The integration of Google Earth Engine with the Prop Trust Verified Standard represents a paradigm shift in RWA infrastructure. By combining the scale of global geospatial data, the security of confidential computing, and the legal admissibility of eIDAS 2.0 cryptographic signatures, we transform physical asset verification from a periodic, manual bottleneck into a continuous, automated, and regulatorily robust utility. This is the foundation upon which institutional-grade RWA markets will be built.
