The Open Standard Mandate
Why PTVS must be governed collectively

The Prop Trust Verified Standard (PTVS v1.0) was created by Aurelio Tamarit Blay (Certified Judicial Expert Exp. No. 0161) and is institutionally stewarded by the Forensics Oracle Initiative. However, for PTVS to fulfill its mandate as the foundational trust layer of the Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization economy, it cannot remain the property of a single entity.

PTVS must evolve into a public good of the European financial infrastructure — governed transparently, audited independently, and maintained collectively by the institutions that rely on it: banks, insurers, pension funds, RWA platforms, universities, and supervisory authorities.

The PTVS Technical Board is the institutional body responsible for this transition. Inspired by the governance models of W3C, ISO, Linux Foundation, and Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, it provides a neutral forum where competitors collaborate on shared infrastructure — ensuring that PTVS remains open, interoperable, and resilient regardless of the fortunes of any single organization.

Open Standard, Open Code

The core technical specification of PTVS v1.0, including the PTVSClaimInjector.sol smart contract and the canonical JSON schema, are released under permissive open-source licenses. Anyone can audit, implement, and verify the standard independently.

Multi-Stakeholder Governance

No single entity holds veto power. Voting rights are distributed across banks, RWA platforms, academic institutions, forensic experts, and regulatory observers — ensuring balanced representation of the entire ecosystem.

Radical Interoperability

PTVS is designed to complement, not compete with, existing infrastructure: MiCA compliance, ERC-3643/T-REX identity, eIDAS 2.0 signatures, and ONCHAINID verifiable credentials. The Board enforces backward compatibility as a core obligation.

Regulatory Alignment

Every evolution of the standard must be compatible with the evolving requirements of ESMA, EBA, EIOPA, and ECB/SSM. The Board maintains formal liaison channels with all European Supervisory Authorities.

Decentralized Expert Network

Forensic audits are performed by independent Prop Trust Certified Experts (PTCEs) — licensed judicial professionals who operate autonomously. No central entity controls the supply of verifications.

Transparent Pricing

All licensing fees, take rates, and certification costs are published publicly and bound by contractual commitments (maximum annual increment: 5%). No hidden fees, no unilateral price changes.

Decision thresholds: Ordinary resolutions require a simple majority (7+ of 13 voting seats). Constitutional amendments (changes to the charter, IP ownership, or dissolution) require a qualified majority of 10/13 plus the affirmative vote of the Founder Seat.

Inaugural Board plenary in Frankfurt. Ratification of the Technical Specification v1.1. First Working Group on MiCA Alignment formed.

Specialized bodies driving the standard’s evolution

The Board delegates technical work to specialized Working Groups, open to any qualified contributor regardless of Board membership:

Monitors regulatory technical standards (RTS) under MiCA and proposes PTVS adaptations. Chair: to be appointed.

Maintains the canonical JSON schema, hashing protocols, and Verifiable Claim structure. Reviews cryptographic primitives annually.

WG-Forensic Methodology

Defines the PTCE inspection protocols, PTVS Score calculation, and circuit breaker thresholds. Led by senior judicial experts.

WG-Climate & NGFS

Integrates climate-related physical risk metrics (NGFS-aligned) into the PTVS Score methodology.

WG-Interoperability

Liaises with ERC-3643, T-REX, ONCHAINID, and other identity/compliance standards to ensure seamless integration.

To eliminate any concern of vendor lock-in or institutional dependency, PTVS implements the following safeguards:

The PTVSClaimInjector.sol smart contract, the canonical JSON schema, and the Verifiable Claim structure are published under MIT License on GitHub. Any institution can fork, audit, or implement independently.

🔒

Code Escrow

The complete source code of proprietary components is deposited with an independent third-party escrow agent. If Aurema Group ceases operations, the code automatically transitions to the public domain.

📚

Scientific Permanence

The standard is permanently registered at CERN/Zenodo (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21719175), HAL/CNRS, and OSF — ensuring its preservation independent of any commercial entity.

🛡️

PTCE Network Autonomy

The network of certified forensic experts operates under independent licenses. If the central entity dissolves, the network can continue operating autonomously under Board governance.
